米空母キティホークを訪問。原子力空母ではなく通常型最古参の空母で、ライト兄弟が飛行した町の名前にちなんで命名された。数々の作戦に参加し横須賀にも配属されたので日本にもなじみが深い。艦橋の中もとてもよく作りこまれています。

October 24th is World Polio Day. We are closer to ridding the world of polio, yet new cases have been discovered in the Gaza Strip and Pakistan. For a little while longer, the world needs to work together.
10月24日は世界ポリオデイです。世界からポリオをなくすまであと一歩のところで、ガザ地区とパキスタンで新たな患者が発見されました。もう少しのあいだ、世界は互いに協力しあわないといけません。
